Audit & Accounts AAT Trainee Central Manchester £18,000 to £22,000 Hybrid Working

My client is a Top 20 firm, looking to expand their Manchester office due to continued business growth, the office is around 125 staff but retains a great atmosphere and friendly environment. The business working in a number of different sectors and progression is readily available across teams or within your chosen specialism.

The Job

We are looking for non-graduates (or current AAT students with a couple of years experience in an accountancy setting) to join our training program which equips you to provide a range of assurance and business services to a diverse client base ranging from small businesses to substantial international groups. On-the-job training and studying towards your professional qualification will enable you to gain a full understanding of the technical aspects of audit and accountancy and additional financial advisory services. During your contract, you will study towards the AAT qualification.

  • Develop an understanding of our clients and their businesses
  • Complete audit programmes and form conclusions on each individual test and section completed
  • Highlight issues and problems for the attention of senior auditors or managers
  • Become familiar with our audit and accounting software

  • Be proactive and committed to delivering first class professional client service
  • Enjoy working effectively as part of a team
  • Be dedicated and motivated to studying towards the ACA qualification
  • Demonstrate an ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Have a high level of general commercial awareness

Preferred academic requirements

GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at a minimum of grade 5
