Credit Risk Modelling Manager- Hybrid Working London or Kent office & Home - Up To £90K - J12332 Would you like to join one of the largest credit management services providers in Europe who are also the market leader in the UK and Ireland? This role is for a commercially minded statistician / data science specialist in the Decision Science team. The purpose of this role is to lead and manage a small team of analysts to develop high quality, robust predictive models and analytical tools to support the company's European businesses. Knowledge & Experience • Bachelor degree or higher in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics or other related discipline • 6+ years of credit risk model development experience • Successful development and delivery of at least 6 credit risk model development projects in an industry that has high volumes of data • Successful management of at least two analysts in the delivery of analytical modelling projects • Proven ability of delivery of expert analytical consultancy with the ability to adapt communication style according to stakeholders • Competent using ETL and statistical software (Base SAS and statistical modules or equivalent Python, R, SQL) Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities • Management and hands-on delivery of model development projects end to end from data extraction through to operational delivery • Management of the development of analytical plans and pipelines, including providing expertise to support the UK modelling strategy • Work with other teams and departments to ensure modeling output is correctly deployed into the business • Data warehouse interrogation, data collection, sample selection and preparation • Statistical model building to agreed objectives and deadlines • Provide expert analytical consultancy to stakeholders across the business If this sounds like the role for you then please apply today!
