Role: Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programme Facilitator Based: Merseyside Rate: £26,900pa Start Date: ASAP Sept/ Oct 2022 Duration: 1 year FTC with strong possibility of an extension/ permanent contract Hours: 4 or 5 days (flexible for the right candidate) Our client, a specialist Domestic Violence charity based in Merseyside, is looking for an Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programme Facilitator to join their RESPECT accredited programme. The Programme is a 26-week behavioural change programme which is embedded within a coordinated community response to tackle domestic abuse. The specialist change programme is a voluntary programme for individuals who want to access help to change their abusive behaviour. Responsibilities and Job Duties: You will make contact with, provide an initial suitability assessment and deliver the MASC programme to individuals within Merseyside You will be delivering the 26 week group programme which focuses on lasting behavioural change and additional 121 work as and when required You will pro-actively secure engagement using a proactive outreach approach, and influence attitudinal and behavioural change Responsible for working collaboratively with existing agencies and partners to ensure promote the service and ensure the safety of victims and children Promoting awareness and understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours Working closing with other professionals to ensure that risk management and safeguarding duties are effectively met and to improve outcomes for all involved You will receive RESPECT accredited training and will be accredited to deliver their programme. Essential Requirements: Experience working with either perpetrators or victims of domestic violence (in Domestic Abuse services, specialist Police units, supported housing etc) and an understanding of the dynamics of domestic abuse Ideally will have experience of delivering groups/ workshops Strong safeguarding and risk assessments skills and experience Supporting Futures Consulting acts as both an employer and an agency
