Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for enthusiastic Drama/Performing Arts graduates and students, to work as Cover Supervisors & classroom support Assistants in our Secondary schools in Swindon. The roles available will be both part and full-time on a supply basis in schools and it involves working with children aged 11-16 years old starting ASAP Through to July 2022 and beyond if you wish!
The schools we work with cater for Secondary aged students and they urgently require temporary staff with a degree in any subject to work as a Cover Supervisor within the classroom or as a Teaching Assistant. This will involve covering Drama lessons (and other lessons) in the absence of the teacher. The work will be provided and you will be responsible for delivering the work that the students need to complete, ensure they complete it and keep the classroom under control and manage behaviour of the students. To be considered for these temporary roles the ability to engage and build rapport using your general knowledge and academic background is essential. If you study or have finished your studies and are not sure what to do next, perhaps teaching may be an option? Working on a supply basis as a cover supervisor will give you a good taster of what it is like to work in schools.
FULL TRAINING PROVIDED!
There is an urgent need in many schools for assistance with cover of lessons on a daily basis and we can offer you work from 1 to 5 days per week depending on what you would like to do. The role will involve covering all subjects and the work will be set by the teacher. We can work around you and your circumstances! If you want full-time, long-term work then we will offer you that, but if you prefer to work when it suits you on certain days of the week then we will place you on the days that you are free! You teach when and where you want to!
