Junior Fundraiser, 2022 How it works Year one: You will be inducted into an immersive home-based training programme, featuring online training with the Chartered Institute of Fundraising and our own specialist team, as well as self-study. You will gain a practical, hands-on understanding of fundraising with trusts and foundations for a portfolio of charity partners. You will be involved in the company's work from day one, in client-facing meetings, researching trusts and foundations, and writing fundraising bids, always fully supported by more experienced team members. Year two: This year you will continue with your trust and foundation work and begin to develop familiarity with a wider range of approaches, including direct mail, corporate, capital, events, individual donor and major donor fundraising. There will also be the opportunity to study for the Chartered Institute of Fundraising's Certificate in Fundraising, or equivalent, fully funded by Chell Perkins Ltd. Years three to five: By now you will have gained practical fundraising skills across a diverse range of income streams. This experience will enable you to develop further skills in fundraising strategy and consultancy across the third sector. There will also be opportunities to study for further professional qualifications and to specialise in your chosen field and career path from this point onwards.
