Data Protection Business Analyst Contract

Location: London - Hybrid Role

Duration: 6 months

Day Rate: £190 per day

IR35 Status: Inside

We are looking for a data analyst or business analyst to work on a 6 month contract. The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of CCPA and GDPR, and be a quick learner with the ability to adapt quickly. The role will involve working closely with Data and Privacy Ops teams, and partnering with other cross functional departments including Legal, CSO, Product, Technology and Operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate with some experience of compliance or business analysis to work with a fantastic multi-national enterprise in the entertainment industry.


  • Review policies
  • DSAR/IRR reporting
  • GDPR/Data Protection
  • Manage and maintain DSAR/IRR logs
  • Supporting the full life cycle of DSAR/IRR requests
  • Implementation of new privacy regulations
  • Ensure all assigned DSARs/IRRs are completed within agreed timeframes
  • Produce reports and information summaries on completed DSARs/IRRs
  • Keep up to date with changes in data protection law and regulations
  • Collating, updating and reviewing data processing activities and mapping
  • Carrying out data protection monitoring activities and producing plans for the business

Experience Required:

  • Microsoft Excel
  • GDPR/Data Protection
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of CCPA and GDPR
  • Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in a privacy/data protection related field
  • 1-2 years previous Data Analyst or Business Analyst experience
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Demonstrate a good understanding of processes, systems and policies

The ideal candidate will be energetic, meticulously organised, have good communications skills, and be able to balance multiple concurrent activities. You will have some experience working as a business analyst or data analyst and have experience working in GDPR and Data Protection.

Please note: This is a hybrid role, where you'll be required on-site around 2-3 times per week. The company office is located on Old Street, London.
